Second Chance Cat Rescue
Second Chance Cat Rescue is a new venture by a group of seven dedicated women who have many years of experience fostering felines. We are based around Biggar in South Lanarkshire (Scotland) where we have three large cat huts with grass runs that are perfectly suited to adult cats making the transition to a fresh start.Four members of the group dedicate their time to fostering rescued Kittens. This is always done indoors in a home environment and provides the best possible start to life with a new family. Our Aims
We aim to provide a safe place for stray or unwanted cats and kittens. We will give them all the care they need, including veterinary care, until a suitable new home can be found.
Rehoming
All adults cats are neutered, vaccinated, wormed and micro chipped before going to a new home.
We do not home cats or kittens to indoor only homes unless recommended by a vet, as in the case of F.I.V. Positive cats.
We always visit prospective owners at home before they go to see the cat/kitten.
There is no set charge for a cat/kitten, but a donation will enable us to continue the work of helping cats.
If you are thinking of adopting a cat or kitten you can contact us on 01864 502 681.
